Fluid of Life: Blood Scenes

Start Time: 1:00 PM

Fluid of Life: Blood Scenes
Join FifthAngel for a look into the erotic and spiritual art of releasing blood from the human body. We will begin with a safety talk on blood-borne pathogens and infection control. Then, FifthAngel will demonstrate how to perform simple capillary bleeding and progress to more invasive techniques such as arterial bloodletting. This is not a class based on Vampirism, and is not for the squeamish.

Saturday, Dec. 8th
1pm-3pm (doors open at 12:30pm)
Admission: $20 at the door

A martial artist, critical care nurse, and all-around sexual sadist, FifthAngel extracts various elements from his extensive background in martial arts, weapons and firearms training to help create some of the most emotionally and mentally challenging scenes known to BDSM. Adding the title of author to his hobbies, he has written two books, "The Finer Points of Pain and Pleasure," a how-to guide for using pressure points in BDSM scenes, and "Your Pain, My Pleasure: Inside the Mind of a Sexual Sadist."

Branded for playing on the edge, FifthAngel at times demonstrates sexual sadism in its purest sense - a sexual sadist does not enjoy seeing the bottom orgasm from pain. Rather, a sexual sadist is happy seeing the bottom NOT getting pleasure from the emotional or physical pain they are experiencing.

With a goal to educate others to deepen their emotional experiences through BDSM and rites of passage, he has expanded his teachings and demonstrations to include spiritual piercing and flesh hooks. FifthAngel remains an equal opportunity sadist and is always happy to work with volunteers among workshop attendees.

An edge player in all aspects of his life, he enjoys vertical rock and ice climbing as well as high altitude mountaineering.
Fourth Annual Victorian Kinky Christmas party
Open Play Party
Start Time: 8:00 PM

Fourth Annual Victorian Kinky Christmas party
SFCitadel 1277 Mission St
Sat December 1, 2007 8pm - 1 am
$20 ($5 discount if in Victorian garb or donating an ornament)
This is a very special Open Play Party, with Holiday and Victorian themes. Many of us will first spend the day at the Dickens Corset Faire, a reconstruction of Victorian London, as Charles Dickens saw it. Pay special attention to Mad Sal’s, the Dark Garden windows, and the Naughty French Postcards show (5:30?). See dickensfair.com for info on the Faire, but they know nothing of the kinky party. Then we’ll wear our holiday finest to the dungeon, and help decorate the Citadel’s tree. And we’ll recreate kinky scenes inspired by the repressed sexuality of Dickens’ time. Perhaps organize a game of “strip Whist”, or “kinky Wink”. Certainly some dominance and submission. Consider a nice caning, or an over-the-knee spanking. They don’t call it “the English vice” for nothing. Whether you celebrate Winter Solstice, Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, or simply the snow season, come enjoy decking the tree with colorful ornaments and other pretties. We'll whip that tree into shape, and Top it with a dominant symbol of the season.
Those who haven’t been to an event at SFCitadel should note that while this is a warm and safe environment, you’ll be exposed to people exploring some extreme erotic fantasies. This makes Postcards look quite tame. All genders and orientations welcome.
Saturday December 8th
Fluid of Life: Blood Scenes
Heavy Warning Not for the Squeamish !!

Come spend some entertaining and educational time with
Jay travels throughout the country teaching bondage
user-friendly yet wickedly effective techniques from
his highly recommended book for tying single-limb
Join us for hot male-on-male action in San Francisco's premier dungeon space! We provide slings and crosses and cages and bondage tables and lockers and lounge chairs and safer sex supplies - plus some other surprises! Check it out!
Volunteers play for free. Here's the volunteer lineup: - Set-up (2 guys, 7pm) - Clean-up (3 guys, 1am) - Dungeon Monitors (must be trained and certified) - Desk (1 per hour) - Locker attendant/runner (1 per hour) Note that with the layout at the new place, we don't need a lonely door person, but we do need someone to manage the locker keys, keep chip bowls full, put out safer sex supplies as needed, and keep the place tidy during the party so that the final cleanup goes a little bit quicker. To volunteer, contact sfomaster@yahoo.com
Admission: $20 per person RSVPs are not required
Saturday June 16th afternoon
hat Draws Us to the Flame? (Psychology of BDSM)

Start Time: 1:00 PM

---------------------------------

Master Mark M.A.
Instructor/Discussion Leader
MasterMarkMA@.aol.com

This Class will explore such questionable theories as: “Most people who indulge in BDSM activities are either consciously, or unconsciously working through past issues or life traumas.” “Bottoms and/or submissives have self esteem problems.” “BDSM is just another form of addiction.” “BDSM relationships, by their nature, are more complex and intimate than non BDSM relationships.” And topics like: What to do when a psychological land mine is encountered. Psychological, and emotional aftercare. (Post activity drop) “The fit.” (Top/bottom, Dom Sub, Sadist/Masochist, Checklist) BDSM as stress reliever. Types of personalities drawn to the community, and which ones to watch out for. When to seek out a Kink Aware Therapist. Humiliation? How important is creative ability, and a good imagination for a successful D/s relationship. A look at some definitions of Dom/sub, Top/bottom, Master/slave. And many other potential topics to be explored as time allows.

Resources for this class and discussion will be, my knowledge as a Mental Health professional and Kink Aware Therapist, my experience in the BDSM Lifestyle, and the experiences of you the participants in this class. Because of the nature of this discussion I ask that the participants observe confidentiality within the class group, as well as observing the general confidentiality protocols most of us seem to have naturally when relating to the larger BDSM community, and to the general public. There will be a cut off time for Late Attendees in order to insure group cohesion and confidentiality. (Most likely ½ hour after start time, to allow for traffic and other variables.)
Admission: $30 at the door
with Chris English & Daddy Darin
Sunday, May 20th, 1-4pm
at Edges - edges.biz (San Jose)
$10 admission, no one turned away for lack of funds

I’ve never done needles. From either side. I’ve been to a number of classes on the topic, but I keep thinking that I want to try them for the first time in a ritual setting. But I keep not having the right opportunities.

This month at PlayShop I’ve asked Daddy Darin to come teach us how to penetrate with needles, while poking me. We’re going to have a class/demo/poking ritual. So take a deep breath or three and come poke or be poked! Or come explore penetration in whatever way suits you.

Part ritual, part discussion group, part tantra puja, part class, part show-n-tell, part play party, part experimental laboratory, PlayShop is a series of events intended to be an immersive introduction and experience in ritual BDSM sex magick. All genders and orientations welcome.

All experience levels welcome. If you're a beginner and would like to try some, come. If you're a seasoned magick practitioner, witch, shaman, priest or whatever, and would like to figure out how to mix your skills with bdsm, then come. If you're a seasoned bdsm player and would like to know how to make your play more spiritual, purposeful, and/or meaningful, then come. If you're an experienced ritual magick bdsm practitioner, then come help create. If you’d just like to hang and hold space, then come.

Bring your ritual kit, your toy bag, your drums, your excitement, your enthusiasm, and your partner. Don't fret if you're missing any of these items as we'll likely have enough to share. :-).

Forgive me for crossposting this, but I'm really needing some help.

My husband, who is the sweetest, goofiest guy imaginable, and shy to boot, is having a problem at work. When he got hired at this company, four years ago, he got a job that several people wanted. And it did make it difficult for him to have been hired from the outside for a job that current employees wanted to have. He's the kind of guy who keeps himself to himself, but it hasn't stopped making him a target for gossip and spite.

We're heavily involved with the BDSM community, and unfortunately, someone in our community felt the need to "out" him as a submissive. This of course made a field day for the gossip network, and his feelings were horribly hurt. But he did his best to ignore it, and went on about his business. He's very good at what he does, and upper management seems to love him. His problem is the gossip and spite.

Here is what I've done so far:

Blessed a plant (and empowered it with sex magic) so that people who wish him ill feel uncomfortable in the area where the plant is, and he feels calmer and more centered around the plant. (Unfotunately, this can only apply to his cube. he can't take a plant or anything else into the lab.)

Given him an empowered Ganesh statuette for success at work.

Cast reflecting spells on the worst gossips so that anything they say will reflect badly on them with management. (This has resulted in one finding another job, and another getting a week off without pay.)

I'm running out of ideas and ways to fight back without getting malevolent. Unfotunately, the guy who got a week off seems to be blaming my husband for his unscheduled vacation and working harder to start trouble between my husband and a person who was recently hired to start a new division where my husband wants to work. He's been spreading rumors that indicate that my husband runs to HR if anyone offends him. (Not true at all. He didn't complain to HR even when he was outed as being kinky.)

Anyone got any ideas for spells, charms, or what not that I am missing?

I'm good at this, but I'm getting so angry (I know, not a good place to practice from) that I'm considering taking the advice of the lady I buy herbs from (a hoo doo woman) and do something really nasty.

HELP!!

Introduction to Skydancing Tantra
With Liz and Chris

Sunday, November 19, 10am - 6pm
Santa Clara, California

Ever wondered about Tantra? Interested in improving your communications skills? In learning to build further intimacy and trust? Especially around the intersection of sexuality and spirituality? Curious about creating sacred space? Or about developing your connection with a partner?

In this full day workshop you will be introduced to Tantra in general and to Skydancing Tantra in specific by Liz and Chris. Both Liz and Chris are Skydancing Tantra facilitators in training and students of internationally acclaimed Tantra expert and author Margot Anand. Tantra is an experiential discipline and this class is a start in that direction. You will have the opportunity to explore for yourself some of the exercises of Skydancing Tantra in a private, supportive, encouraging, nonjudgmental environment.

This workshop is open to singles and couples of any gender.

Ok, I have a question. or maybe a few.

I'm holding a series of events, PlayShops. My previous announcement is here: http://teamnoir.name/ChrisEnglish/PlayShop.html. My goal here is to create opportunities for people to learn about spirituality, magick, and ritual, in bdsm play and to begin to develop a network of folks who practice this. This means both initial structure and teaching for total newbies, room for experimentation and practice for folks who have some experience, and opportunities to teach or lead for folks with a bit of experience.

The previous one went ok. I wrote an evaluation here: http://teamnoir.livejournal.com/103056.html.

I like the format of some less formal chat, talk about smudging, encourage other people to practice it. Then open the space somehow, circle, vortex, drumming, or whatever. And while I may be the only one, I rather liked the eye gazing exercises, though I'll admit they could have been spiced up and gone further.

Second half, I'd like to get most participants playing, somehow. And here's the gotcha. I can demo any number of things, at least bdsm-wise. But attempting to do so in a way that makes the play clearly and obviously spiritual, and in which the participants will feel comfortable playing, is the tricky part.

So my question is...

How do I make the play portion more juicy, without alienating too many people by asking them to play with folks they might not know well? I'm looking for a sanity check here, or perhaps some suggestions. How concerned should I be about that? Should I be hunting for things everyone can do, (albeit at perhaps differing intimacy levels), or should I simply be looking for play and exercises that some or most can do which could result in some challenges for the remainders?

At this point, I'm thinking of focusing on consecration next time and asking people to bring toys with which they haven't yet played, (even if it's just a hunk of rope). We'll clear them, and then... I dunno. Maybe I should just ask people what they might do with their toy, in this space, with these people, in order to claim it, or to "burn it in", to begin to make their toy an item with sentimental value. Somehow I'm scared that everyone will just shrug and look to me for some form of structure.

Thoughts? Suggestions?

Many people have noticed that sex in general and BDSM in specific can be spiritual, life altering experiences. Some people have even explored methods for intentionally constructing life changing, ecstatic experiences. Others use BDSM as a form of psycho-theater in which to work through major life issues.

In this discussion class we will examine several of the major approaches to enacting change in one's life through BDSM using combinations of ancient and modern techniques. If you've ever wondered how people do these things, or why, whether sex magick might be useful to you, or how to get started, then this class is for you.

Here's the thought in my head, so far. I'd like to have someone put the needles in my back in the shape of symbol, and then attach them all to each other with string, so I would act as the conduit, instead of being inside the circle. (For instance, if I chose a pentagram, the needles would be at the points, and the string or whatever would make the lines).
I am a single, Pagan, male, 34, 5’ 8”, #215. I do not smoke, drink or use drugs. I have natural black hair and chameleon eyes (they naturally change color!). I enjoy many things. Some of the things I love to do are camping, Burning Man, hiking, snow, road trips, live music, theatre, and more.

I am a Pagan. I want to get this part out now. I have no plans on changing religions. I am in the service of Brigit. She is my main Goddess. My totem is a Sidhe. I use to be a Bull but I am in transition.

I am an avid camper. I have lots of camp stuff. I do not necessary take everything with me. I just take what I need. I love to camp in the South West Deserts, redwoods, beaches, and Mono Lake. I just about camp anywhere!!!

This year was my first Burning Man trip. Unfortunately none of my friends could make it and I ended up going alone. I did have a great time but wish I had people to share it with. I would love to go again but no alone.

Snow!!! Snow is one of my elements. You may see this in my tribe gallery. I am currently learning to snow board. I have been trying since last season. I hope I will get it this year! I do love to snow shoe. I do own my own pair and use them every season either at Kirkwood or Yosemite.

Road trips are a must for me. I love to travel either by driving or train. I have been to many states in my truck Thor. I do road trips year around. Regardless of rain or snow.

I love the muse!!! I love the arts!!! I love live music and theatre. Matter of fact I got to see Dead Can Dance when they where in Oakland.

Sex… I am straight but not narrow. The reason what I am talking about this now is to get two things out of the way. I am in to some BDSM but not into the life style. It is more then kinky play. If you are in the life style then we can talk further. The other this is that I am a cunnalingus addict. A real addict. For any ladies just ladies to get laid… please move on.

These are just some of the things I am into.

Well now for what I am looking for…

I am looking for a non-smoking single female. I am age, race, religion, and size open. I am looking for someone to do things with. I am looking for someone so snuggle with. I am looking fro someone to confine with. She does not have to be perfect but just down to earth.

If we find attraction in one another… I offer this promise:

I promise to never lie to you.
I promise to never to cheat on you
I promise to be there for you especially in time of need.
I promise to be true to you.
I promise to never put you down.
I promise to cheer you up when you are down
I promise to turn a smile from a frown.
I promise to hold you tight in your time of need.
I promise to wipe your tears away.
I promise to make you laugh.
I promise to rub your back.
I promise to lick you from head to toe (and all points in between).
I promise to fill your live with humor.
I promise to travel with you.
I promise to take you places.
I promise to be yours.

So Mote It Be!

They were basically constructed as an opening ritual which fed into play as a form of raising energy, all directed toward a stated goal, usually directed toward the benefit, advancement, and exploration of the participants individually and as a group.

I haven't been seeing many of these in recent years. I miss them tremendously. And I'm wondering if there's enough interest to restart something like this, perhaps on a monthly basis.

So I'm looking for a sort of showing of hands. If you'd be interested in something like this, please let me know. Followups are cool, questions are cool, PM is cool. Also, if you have any tantra experience or training, I'd be interested in hearing about it. And if you consider yourself capable of constructing and leading the ritual portion of such an event, (pretend I have a suitable invitation list, play space, date, etc), please let me know that too.

possibility.

The new space is at 1277 Mission Street between 8th and 9th (yes,
right around the corner). It has two floors and the available space
is about equal to the current space. There is easy street parking at
night, parking lots close by, and it's even closer to mass
work parties to pack it all up and move it down the block. Work
parties will be starting sometime during the week after Folsom, and
you c! an help.
Thanks for your patience and understanding. We're looking forward to

May 26 - Alchemy: A Sacred Tradition - Sebastopol
Many Rivers Books and Tea, 130 S. Main St, hosts Alchemy: A Sacred
Tradition with Clélia Vahni at 7:30pm. What is Alchemy? How does
it relate to health, preventative medicine, and spiritual practice?
In common usage, the term "alchemy" refers to many things
ranging from physical transmutation, to a medieval search for wealth
and immortality, to psychological work, to "pseudo-science."
All of these are partial pieces of a larger picture. The true art of
Alchemy has been passed down through generations by adepts charged to
safeguard the integrity of this esoteric tradition. Although
practiced by only a few, this tradition is still alive today.
Clélia Vahni will discuss the work of one such practitioner, Petri
Murien, who has been engaging the discipline of Alchemy for over
thirty years. Clélia will also discuss the significance of Alchemy
to those interested in serious spiritual practice, and those seeking
to engage alternative forms of healing. Information: 707-829-8871,
June 4 - Sweat Lodge Ceremony - San Jose
Seven Circles will host a Sweat Lodge Ceremony at a private residence
located at 435 S. 14th St, starting at 5:00pm. The Sweat Lodge is
probably the most recognized of all Native American Ceremonies. The
Sweat Leader holds the sacred space and helps the participants with
prayer and songs. In most of the Seven Circles lodges, the ceremony
within the lodge is somewhat akin to a "talking circle". Participants
are invited to speak from their hearts about their life and their
community concerns. This is a ceremony of purification and prayer. In
the heat and the darkness of the lodge, we can come closer to
ourselves, closer to Creator, and closer to understanding each other.
Kids are encouraged to attend. Bring a towel and loose clothes you
can wear into the lodge. Please bring food for the sacred feast
afterwards, a plate, a cup and silverware. We wish to honor the Earth
June 4 - Transformational Healing Circle - Berkeley
Belladonna, 2436 Sacramento, hosts a Transformational Healing Circle
with Carolyn Brandy and Vicki Noble at 7:30pm. The Transformational
Healing Ritual, developed in 1990 by Vicki Noble at the Motherpeace
School for Shamanic Healers in Oakland, is a form that has effected
positive change and brought healing to people around the world.
Through the powerful energies generated in the circle, we remember
our ancient heritage as people with natural healing abilities. This
open circle is an opportunity to reconnect with these energies, as
well as a chance for those in our community who are struggling with
life-threatening and chronic, debilitating physical illness to lie
down and receive vibrational healing in the context of the drumming
and group chanting. We gather as a group with our drums and our
voices to pray for healing and transformation in our community,
laying hands on those members of the group who are especially in
need. Those of us in the circle functioning as the "healers" simply
make ourselves open to the healing vibration for the good of those
who need it, and in the process we get to experience beneficial
results ourselves. No experience needed. Beginners and advanced
healers and drummers are welcome. Cost: $5-10. Information: 510-883-
Anyone is welcome; no previous experience is necessary. Children are
journal, pen, water bottle, pillow, blanket and any drums or rattles
if you have them. The purpose of this circle is to connect with our
Power Animals and Spirit Guides on a regular basis, and to come
together as a community. People are welcome to volunteer to "put
on" the circle each month for the group. This includes planning a
June 12 – Shamanic Drumming Circle – Boulder Creek
Char Lynn hosts a Shamanic Drumming Circle from 12:00-4:00pm. Within
June 12 – Kali Puja Circle – San Francisco
Sharanya presents a Community Open Circle: Kali Puja, Devi Worship at
5:30pm. Our ongoing puja, or worship ceremony, is dedicated to the
Goddess Kali and to those who are recognized in myriad forms as the
Dark Mother. Ceremony is held in the Sha'can tradition and lead by
Chandra, who brings together her dedication to the Goddess as an
initiate of both The Craft and Shakta Tantrick traditions. This puja
infuses methods and practices from east and west in order to create a
sacred space for worship and the path of bhakti, or devotion, within
the western context. Offerings for the main altar are welcome. It is
customary to bring flowers, fruit or sweets and to refrain from
wearing black to our public rituals. You are also invited to bring an
object you would like to have blessed. Cost: $8-13 is suggested to
cover the cost of the puja supplies and prasad (blessed food);
however, no one will be turned away and any donation is happily
accepted. Information: 415-351-0213, info@sharanya.org or visit
June 12 - Sweat Lodge Ceremony - Napa
Seven Circles will host a Sweat Lodge Ceremony at a private
residence, starting at 1:00pm. The Sweat Lodge is probably the most
recognized of all Native American Ceremonies. The Sweat Leader holds
the sacred space and helps the participants with prayer and songs. In
most of the Seven Circles lodges, the ceremony within the lodge is
somewhat akin to a "talking circle". Participants are invited to
speak from their hearts about their life and their community
concerns. This is a ceremony of purification and prayer. In the heat
and the darkness of the lodge, we can come closer to ourselves,
closer to Creator, and closer to understanding each other. Kids are
encouraged to attend. Bring a towel and loose clothes you can wear
into the lodge. Please bring food for the sacred feast afterwards, a
plate, a cup and silverware. We wish to honor the Earth by ceasing to
use paper goods and plastic utensils. Information: 510-222-3822 or
